Dr Ajit Naniksingh Kukreja

Am a Consultant Gastroenterologist and a Colorectal Surgeon, My special interest lies in Laparoscopy, Proctology, Aesthetic surgery . Am a qualified medico-legal consultant and an academician, in private practice since last Twenty Two years in Maninagar ; Have a keen interest in Surgical Laparoscopic & Open Gastroentrology and Coloproctology.
Am actively involved both in diagnostic and advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures . Had my hands on Laparoscopy training way back in 1992 at the P D Hinduja National Hospital Under the able guidance of Dr Thempton E Udwadia
In Jan 1999 was the first to launch Infrared Coagulation as an OPD treatment for Piles in the western India and have till date done 2500 plus procedures with it
Again not to be left behind launched the KM 25 Doppler guided Hemorrhoidal Artery Ligation Evidence based procedure for the first time in Ahmedabad only second in India
Have demonstrated live , demonstrated videos & delivered lectures on Laproscopic Cholecystectomy ; Infrared Coagulation ; Medical Negligence and DGHAL
Had an opportunity to demonstrate DGHAL live at the “National Surgical” Update organized By “International College of Surgeons” On 28th February 2003 at Ahmedabad
Did my graduation and postgraduation from B J Medical College
Have also done law and have keen interest in “Medicolegal aspects of Medical practice in India”
Have also done Diploma in Hospital Administration ; Diploma in Nutrition & Dietics and also mastered the computers ; had developed a unique Patient Data Management System for Doctors in Clipper ; Have designed and hosted my own website www.ratandeep.com
Apart from this Am among the first to use technology to the betterment of the Healthcare services ; have a panel of consultants in US ; UK and Australia and help patients get a “Second Opinion” from them without them hassels of shifting the patient or bothering the relatives through telemedicine
Have attended most National conferences and have actively participated in organizing the same ; specially the Annual conference of Association of Surgeons Of India in Ahmedabad in January 1999
And was organizing secretary of “Annual Conference of Ahmedabad Surgeons Association “ 2002 Organised jointly with “International college of Surgeons “
All these years have been spreading the message that surgeons must aquire skills to perform at least basic endoscopic techniques and that all doctors should have preliminary knowledge of computing
